Today I came across young people occupying Plaza Italia (a central meeting point in Santiago for celebrations, protests, etc.). They had put up homemade signs promoting and protesting various causes and offering free classes, a makeshift kitchen and this sidewalk turned exercise studio. Carabineros (police) watched from a distance.
